What a View…
I just wanted to share the beautiful view I’ve had on Christmas Day a few weeks ago. I was all by myself up there. No Santa, no Yeti. It doesn’t get any better than this.

Photos for Christmas
Do you know James Nachtwey? If you do, that’s great. If you don’t, shame on you. James Nachtwey is a brilliant photographer who captures dignity in cruel images. He is mostly known for his work in the field of war photography. The Swiss director Christian Frei shot a terrific documentary about him in 2001 called War Photographer.
Mr. Nachtwey takes other photos as well, though. Take a look at his homepage, a selection of them can be seen there. They will really make you appreciate the life you are living.
Take it easy on Christmas; all year round, actually.
Photos from Human Shields
Some of the photos that I shot of Human Shields at the Open Mic on November 22, 2006, at Parterre in Basel just got posted on Andrew Shields’s blog. He is one of the band members, hence the name Human Shields. I will also put those and other shots up on my Flickr page in a little while.
